GTA V Legacy × Skate 3

SK8V brings Skate 3's board physics, Flick-It tricks, grinds, manuals, and scoring into GTA V Legacy Story Mode. You skate through Los Santos while GTA's traffic, characters, and world interactions continue around you.

Requirements

Use Windows x64, GTA V Legacy 1.0.3889.0, ScriptHookV v3889.0 / 1158.13 with its ASI loader, a controller, and your own Skate 3 Xbox 360 disc ISO or extracted disc folder. The creator lists about 7 GB of free space for setup. GTA V Enhanced, GTA Online, and FiveM are not supported.

Install and first run

  1. Download the latest SK8V release ZIP from the creator's Releases page. Do not use GitHub's “Source code” ZIP.
  2. Close GTA V, extract the release, and run SK8V Setup.cmd. Select your Skate 3 disc files, choose your stance, and install into the detected GTA V Legacy folder.
  3. Launch GTA V Legacy Story Mode with BattlEye disabled. Select the skateboard from the weapon wheel and press Y to mount it.

First check and controls

Confirm that the skateboard appears in GTA's weapon wheel before testing tricks. Press Y to mount or dismount. Regular riding uses Skate 3's controller controls; keyboard skating is not supported. Open the SK8V menu with Back + LB on a controller, or / on the keyboard. Test a push, a turn, and a simple trick in Story Mode before changing other mods.

If it fails or behaves differently

If the board is missing, check that you installed the release ZIP rather than GitHub's source ZIP, that GTA V is the supported Legacy build, that ScriptHookV and its ASI loader match the creator's requirements, and that BattlEye is disabled for Story Mode. If tricks do not respond, confirm a supported controller is connected. The creator reports that teleporting while skating can drop the skater through the map; return to GTA control before teleporting. Rockstar Editor recording is not currently functional with SK8V.
