Skateheim brings Skate 3's board physics, tricks, grinds, sounds and follow camera into Valheim. You ride across Valheim's terrain and buildings, then switch back to walking in the same world.

What you can do

  • Press J or click both controller sticks to get on or off the board.
  • Grind ledges, walls and beam edges; use Skate 3-style flick-it tricks. A controller is recommended, and keyboard controls are also listed by the creator.
  • Step off the board to continue ordinary Valheim play. Water and portals return you to Valheim movement.

Where to find it

Skateheim has a project page on Melty (opens in a new tab). Open that page and check the current Play access and setup instructions for your account and game installation. A project listing is not a separate download from this website. GameMerging AI has not installed or run Skateheim.

Before you play

You need Valheim on PC and your own Skate 3 Xbox 360 game files, including the extracted folder containing default.xex. Melty says its app prepares those files on your PC when you start the mashup. Read the project page for controller and keyboard controls before launching.

First check

After following the creator’s setup, check that you can get on and off the board with J or both controller sticks. If it fails, compare your extracted Skate 3 files, Valheim setup and controls with the project page.
